The former commissioner Taraba State Ministry of Works and Transport Hon. (Dr) Tafarki Agbadu immensely appreciates gov Darius Ishaku for approving the construction of Mararaba-Baissa-Abong road to 3 different construction companies.

While speaking with him on this trending development, he said, the contract was awarded long before now to three different contractors and all of them have written acceptance letter and the amount was just ratified by the EXCO and was agreed to be paid on percentage as the case maybe. As such, the said contract is already in track record of the governor for a very good time now. And as season changes the work will be flag off shortly. "He clarified".

Honorable Agbadu said, the governor is a workaholic leader that everyone will love to work with at any given opportunity. Without hesitation, he is committed to his words.

During my days as his commissioner in Works Ministry he was able to achieve numerous projects under the ministry. Notably the Jalingo-Kona Road, the Magami road network, the TADP-THU by-pass, FMC-Deeper life church, Jalingo Market-Place road, Takum-Army Barrack road, Bali-Serti-Gembu road. Installation of Solar power lights on the palace and jolly Nyame road and Danbaba Suntai road, Presidential road to ministry of finance round about and the Green house project. The Takum-Chanchanji, Wukari-Sukundi, Mararaba-Pantisawa road on progress.

Before I left the ministry, the governor's commitment on Kurmi road was highly commendable. The forces that he pushed to ensure that any obstacle that will hinder the process of that road be cleared off for the success of the road. Today we can celebrate him for a job well done.

We will not also forget that DDI revamped the Danbaba Suntai Airport, Jalingo to standard through the ministry of works and transport under my watch. So the governor's achievement in the works ministry are very lucrative to the state.

He have not failed the people of Kurmi and I want to state clear that, our continual support for the rescue mission in 2019, will never be negotiated. "He added".

Honorable Agbadu, have indeed aided the achievements of the Rescue mission in the ministry of works and transport even before resigning his appointment to answer the clarion call by his people to legislate them in the State House of Assembly Kurmi constituency.

Haven achieved the aforementioned projects under the works and transport ministry as recapitulated by Agbadu, it will interest us to know that, the award of Kurmi road to 3 different construction companies, where all will commence work at once and each company will be given 28kms thus:-

1. 0-28km by CGC
2. 28km-56Km by CCECC
3. 56-83km by China Zhianhao. 

So as to meet up with time frame and quick completion of the project. This was Mr. Agbadu live wisdom and the governor assented it.

With this commitment by the governor in rescuing the lousy road of Kurmi, his name will be calve with stone and will go down in history. And to his amiable commissioner, Agbadu your effort will speak for you even as it have started now. There is confidence that you will do great things for your people in the Assembly.
