Full Biography of Hon. Joseph Titus Nagombe

Joseph Titus Nagombe, a native of Mayo Selbe, Gashaka LGA was born on 25th January, 1978 to the family of Mr Nnamnkundo Maisamari Nagombe and Mrs Deborah Wakoto Yusuf. He began his educational pursuit at Mayofadam Primary School from 1994 to 2000 and progressed to  Government Day Junior Senior Secondary School where he was called to join the ministry of Lord Jesus Christ. He then got enrolled into Mambilla Baptist Theological Seminary Mbu, Gembu In Sardauna LGA and graduated with Certificate in Theology. Nagombe obtained his Diploma from same Theological Seminary Mbu, Gembu in 2009 and proceeded to the prestigious Theological College of Northern Nigeria, Bukuru, Jos, Plateau State where he obtained his Bachelors of Arts in Theology from 2010 to 2013. He went further and bagged Masters in Religious and Cultural Studies from same Seminary from 2013-2015 and Masters of Arts in Security Studies 2020 from Modibbo Adama University, Yola.

Career:

Before venturing into politics, Joseph Titus Nagombe worked as d Disciple Trainers with the Mambilla Baptist Convention in Maisum field sponsored by Rowandale Baptist Church Canada and also worked as Coordinator of the program feom 2007 to 2007. He was elected Conference supervisor of Maisuma Field from 2008 to 2016. He is the founder and chairman Ndola Ministry Investment Council, Maisuma field with Rowandale Baptist Church Canada and was the Director and a major Translator in the Ndola Translation project from 2012 to 2016 and also worked as a Community Development Officer with GECHAAN on special project under Baptist General Conference USA in 2010 to 2014.  Following the creation of NGADA on 21st September 2016, Joseph Titus Nagombe was appointed the first Coordinator of NGADA special Development Area since he was the vision behind the creation of NGADA(Ndola Of Gola Area Association) because of his philanthropic way of life. After his voluntarily resignation in 2022, Joseph Nagombe contested for Member House of Representatives: Gashaka, Kurmi, and Sardauna federal Constituency in the 2023 general elections under the platform of PDP where the will of the people was truncated.  Presently, Joseph Titus Nagombe is serving as the Commissioner of Heritage and Ecotourism Taraba State under the administration of Gov Kefas Agbu.

Personal Life:

Joseph Nagombe is happily married to Mrs Martina Nagombe with three children; Nnamkundo Josiah, Helga and Emmanuel Joseph Nagombe. Due to his outstanding quality as Reverend and a politician, he has received several awards from reputable organizations among which are:

  • Award of Excellence for Contributions to Church Growth 2006
  • Award of outstanding services and contributions to the ordinary people by Ordinary People Forum 2017
  • Merit Award as a grass root mobilizer by Taraba State University 2018
  • Award as Human right supporter to the leas privileged and vulnerable by Taraba Human Right Chapter, 2018
  • Award of impact by Rotaract Club of Jalingo CB, 2023
  • Award of Excellence for dedication and provision of Health Care services by A. Helwig Comprehensive Health Care Center, 2019 among others.
